Quality is our History

Our company was established in 1971 with the model of a state-owned company specializing in bamboo and rattan products to exchange goods with the Russian Federation with the name Vietnam Bamboo and Rattan Import-Export Corporation.  After state capitalization, in 2000, our company was renamed Barotex Vietnam Trading and Investment Joint Stock Company with many business departments in the fields of real estate, education and handicrafts.  From July 1, 2014, the Handicrafts Import-Export Department of Barotex Vietnam Investment and Trading Joint Stock Company has become Barotex Hanoi Limited Company. This change was due to a significant expansion of our business activities which includes many other product categories in addition to the production and sale of traditional handicrafts. To recognize the history of formation and persistent development over the past 50 years, from February 20, 2025, we change the company name to Barotex 1971 Co., Ltd.
